Twitter critic, Daniel Regha has called out US president, Joe Biden for pardoning everyone convicted of the federal offence of marijuana possession in his country.
Recall that the president announced a pardon for all prior federal offences of simple possession of marijuana in the country.
He urged governors of fifty states in the country to pardon everyone convicted by state laws criminalizing marijuana possession.
Reacting to this, Daniel Regha told Joe Biden that he is making an unwise decision.
According to him, Marijuana should be declared illegal and those using or possessing it should be in jail.
The social media analysis asked him to think about his decision once more.
“Biden u are making an unw!se decision; Th! nk thru. Mar!juana should be declared ! llegal, & anyone who’s seen using or possessing cannab!s hould be jailed. Society acts like it’s cool but a lot of people’s lives especially the youths have been ru!ned cos of its unprescribed usage”.
Biden wants to normalise the use of mar!juana, people will applaud but that’s unw!se; Legalising the use of mar!juana will have a negat!ve impact on society. I hope Biden d¤esn’t succeed in doing this, cos America is seen as a symbol of power & the world looks up to the USA.
Marijuana is harmful, there’s no valid reason for it to be legalized & it’s more likely to get into the hands of children if this is done. The war on drugs should be encouraged, society acts like marijuana is cool but it’s not. No sensible person will encourage legalising “weed”.
The world looks up to America, which means that whatever America does, majority will emulate.
