Oba Abolarin Adedokun, the Orangun of Oke-lla, in Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun state, has commiserated with Popular Nigerian singer, Davido over the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Recall that Ifeanyi drowned in a pool on Monday, October 31st, 2022.
In his tribute, Oba Abolarin recounted how the mother of Davido, Veronica rescued his own son from a swimming pool 25 years ago.
“So sad, it was Davido’s mummy, late Dr. Mrs. Veronica Adeleke that rescued my own son inside the swimming pool, some twenty-five years ago. I am sad. What Veronica did for my son years back, nobody, I mean nobody to play that same role for Veronica’s grandson, Ifeanyi!”
“Who are we to query God, may his soul rest in peace and may Veronica’s soul continue to rest in peace, fantastic woman!” He wrote.
