Austin Faani, a Nollywood filmmaker and Chacha Eke’s husband, has called out actors and actresses for not campaigning for their colleague, Funke Akindele who has been named the Peoples Democratic Party deputy governorship candidate of Lagos State.
The movie producer took to his Instagram page to share campaign photos of the actress.
Sharing the photos, Austin Faani why Funke’s colleagues are not campaigning for her.
The father of four wondered if it could be envy that is holding them back.
Austin Faani then advised Nigerians to vote for Funke Akindele.
He wrote;
“Funke Akindele’s colleagues are not campaigning for her, especially the female celebrities.
Could it be envy or what?
We can post her film but not her political ambition.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was once the governor of California.
Y’all think she is not capable?
I trust she will do better than all the previous Deputy Governors of Lagos put together.” He wrote.
