Big Brother Naija Lockdown ex-housemate Erica Nlewedim has spoken out against harassing others to favor a particular candidate before the 2023 general Election.
Note that numerous celebrities, including Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Akintola, Toyin Abraham, and Foluke Daramola, have been harassed over their support for the candidacy in the recent weeks.
Speaking out against the behavior, which has subsequently come to be accepted among certain social media users, Erica stressed that no one should be subjected to intimidation or coercion in a nation with a democratic form of government.
She wrote: “At the end of the day it’s a democracy, no one should be bullied or forced to support anyone.”
