Media personality, Toke Makinwa has reacted after Labour party candidate, Thaddeus Attah defeated singer, Banky W to emerge as the winner of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
It could be recalled that Attah polled a total of 24,075 votes to defeat his main rival, entertainer, Olubankole Wellington aka Banky W of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who gathered 18,666 votes, and Mr Babjide Obanikoro of the APC, who had 16, 901 votes.
Taking to her Twitter page, Toke Makinwa wondered how Thaddeus Attah was able to beat Banky W despite not campaigning during the election.
Describing the news as painful, the singer stated that Banky deserved to win because of his hardwork.
“The news of LP winning in Eti-Osa House of Representatives is so painful cos he didn’t campaign, we don’t even know him.
Banky worked s hard, Banky deserved to win Eti-Osa”. She wrote.
