Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has tackled African parents who have formed the habit of emotionally blackmailing their children.
Taking to her Twitter page, the mother of one revealed that parents blackmailed their children by talking about how they raised them and also sacrificed for them.
Etinosa Idemudia wondered why African parents will use what they did for their children to blackmail them knowing fully well that they are the reason why the children came into the world in the first place.
She also pointed out that they are the ones that put their children in “the position to need sacrifice”.
In her words;
‘’African parents need to stop the emotional blackmail tbh.
I raised you, I sacrificed for you. I don’t understand, who brought me here in the first place? Who put me in the position to need sacrifice. Kanayo Kanayo?”
