Nigerian singer, Joeboy has revealed the impact his colleague, Wizkid made in the lives of young artistes in Nigeria.
The ‘Baby’ crooner revealed this while speaking in the latest episode of the Body & Soul audiovisual podcast.
According to him, Starboy made young artistes in Nigeria believe they can hit stardom at a young age.
Joeboy revealed that before Wizkid rose to the limelight, it was difficult for young artistes to blow early.”
The singer also disclosed that knew he was going to be a star after meeting Big Wiz for the first time.
In his words;
“One thing I really appreciate about Wizkid is that he made young artistes believe that they could pop [hit stardom] at a young age. Before Wiz, if any artiste pop, it was probably at a very later stage in life. But after Wiz young people started coming through.”
