Nollywood actress, Ufuoma McDermott has showered praises on former Guinness World Record cook-a-thon holder, Lata Tondon.
Recall that some Nigerians insulted the chef after Hilda Baci started her cook-a-Thon event. They also mocked her after Guinness World Records announced Hilda as the new cook-a-thon holder.
Days after Hilda received her plaque, Ufuoma McDermott penned a sweet note to Lata Tondon.
Sharing beautiful photos of the chef via Instagram, the actress thanked her for paving the way for many young ladies to thread on.
Describing Lata as a beautiful inspiration, the proud mother revealed that her title of being the first woman to hold the record will forever be known.
According to her, the chef lit a torch to light a path and now many can see on that path.
In her words;

Your title is NEVER lost. Posterity will remember that you were the first woman and you held it for a long time. In the same vein today. Hilda is inspiring many others. Keep speaking to young people about their dreams. Keep encouraging them. Because indeed, you are a beautiful inspiration”.
