Indian chef, Lata Tandon has pleaded with Nigerians and Indians to maintain peace as they await confirmation from Guinness World Records.

Recall that Hilda cooked for over 100 hours, beating Chef Lata, who cooked for more than 87 hours.

After she broke a new Guinness World Record, some Nigerians took to Lata’s page to mock her. This led to a media war between Nigerians and Indians.

Reacting to this, Chef Lata Tondon urged Nigerians and Indians to maintain peace as they wait for Guinness to officially announce if the Current Record is broken or not.

She urged them not to make it a competition as it is just a record.

In her words;

 “A Humble Request to all my Sisters and Brothers in Nigeria & India to maintain peace and wait for Guinness to officially announce if the Current Record is broken or not.

“Please don’t make it a Competition it’s just a Record, my friends. I am a Peace-loving Person and wish the same for you”
