Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has recounted how her white wedding was almost ruined due to a decision by the United Arab Emirates to ban Nigerians and other nationalities in October.
Recall that the thespian and her husband did their white wedding on Saturday. The wedding was attended by top celebrities like Chioma Akpotha, Kate Henshaw and others.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress posted a video of herself rocking her bridal outfit.
Sharing the video, Rita Dominic revealed her plan to get her dream wedding gown was almost ruined due to the UAE ban.
According to her, her dress designer, Michael Nardi lives in a different country and due to the UAE’s decision, she almost lost hope of getting her wedding gown.
However, the designer went the extra mile to make sure her wedding gown fit despite the ban.
In her words;
“Thank God for a beautiful weekend full of love and joy. Thank you to #michael5inco for making my dream wedding gown. It was lot of hard work and patience since we were in two different countries.
“The UAE ban almost ruined it all but designer Michael Nardi who you see in this video came to the rescue by going above and beyond to make the necessary alterations and final fittings. So huge hugs to both.
“Thank you to my dream team who worked hard to get me looking good in this gown. Love you all from the bottom of my heart.”
