US based-Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi has made shocking revelations about her marriage and divorce.
Recall that Korra had a messy divorce in March of 2022.
After her American Chiropractor husband, Justin Dean announced their breakup shortly after she gave birth to their second child, many of the couple’s online fans took to social media to throw insults at the mother of two.
Some accused her of dumping the father of her children after he saved her from poverty.
Well, Korra Obidi has finally addressed the misconceptions regarding her marriage.
In a video trending online, the singer questioned whether she and her family looked poor.
Korra went on to reveal that she met her husband in China.
According to her, she paid half of her bride price, and paid Justin $50,000 in a divorce settlement and he didn’t give her a dime.
“Do you realize I paid half of my bride price? He took me out of poverty? Does any part of my family look poor to you? Anyone thinking he saved me and put me in the land of opportunity… No, that’s not what happened we both met in China. I paid him 50,000 dollars, but he did not give me one dime. I had to settle him after divorce”. She said in parts.
