On Thursday, November 23, 2023, Nigerian singer Adekunle Temitope, popularly known as Small Doctor, suffered a devastating fire incident that ravaged his house.
The cause of the blaze remains undetermined, but it is believed to have originated in the kitchen area.
Thankfully, no casualties were reported, though the fire caused extensive damage to the house of Small Doctor.
News of the fire spread quickly, and Small Doctor took to his Instagram story to address the situation.
He expressed gratitude for the absence of any injuries, stating, “No pressure, for the Lord is with me. No life was lost.” Drawing upon Yoruba proverbs, he further remarked, “Ile Alaafin to jo, ewa lo bu kun.
That is to say, when a king’s palace burns down, it becomes even more beautiful.”
Despite the setback, Small Doctor remained optimistic, declaring, “Miracles will happen soon. I’m not afraid, I won’t break down.”
