Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo has explained why some actors seek financial help online.
This comes after veteran actors, Mr ibu and Amechi Muonagor took to social media to seek for financial help following a life-threatening sickness.
According to her, many actors spend their life savings on medical expenses when they become ill, hoping to recover.
However, when their money runs out, they are forced to turn to social media for financial assistance.
Patience Ozokwo also pointed out that the public’s perception of actors as wealthy makes it difficult for them to receive help.
Additionally, she mentioned that actors’ expensive lifestyles, which often involve buying new clothes to maintain a certain image, can contribute to their financial struggles.
