Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has announced his separation from his wife, Elsie Uzoma Okpocha.
Recall that the couple married 12 years ago and has three children.
In an Instagram story post, the comic actor stated that even though it was difficult for him and his wife to end their marriage, their separation was unavoidable.
Basketmouth added that they will work together to give their beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.
“For the first and the last time.”
“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.”
After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end out marriage.
“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.”
“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you.” He wrote.
