Social media influencer, Amanda Chisom has reacted as Nollywood actress, Peggy Ovire tackles Kiekie over her recent interview.
Recall that Kiekie had in a recent interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa, revealed that she contributes to the payment of her family house rent.
According to her, she can’t stay in a house and not pay rent.
Reacting to this via the comment section of a blog where the video was shared, Peggy Ovire urged the comedian to admit that she earns more than her husband; hence why they are contributing the rent.
“Just say you earn more than your husband Kiekie, then bills sharing is a must. It is my husband’s responsibility to pay the bills especially since he can afford it. Mine is to take care of the home and be there for emergency cases. My man won’t even let me pay jack.” she wrote.
Upset by her outburst, Amanda Chisom tackled Peggy Ovire for tackling Kiekie for doing what works for her marriage.
In a Facebook post, the content creator wondered why Kiekie saying that she splits bills with her husband hurt her and many Nigerians.
Amanda then urged the actress to do what works for her home and allow Kiekie to do what works for her home .
In her words;
“Why does kiekie saying she splits bill with her husband Hurt some of you, is it your splitting??
That she wants to lessen the burden on the man bothers you all?? Why.
Na only una go talk it is a man’s responsibility to pay the bill, that is why he is the man of the house. When man of the house marries second wife now, you remember you are partners. Do what works for your home. If he decides to pay everything, congratulations, if you are splitting , Congratulations… If you like be dangote, I will still pick bills..”
