Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has allegedly denied being married to his new wife, Judy Austin.
According to Instagram blogger, Cutie Juls, the movie star denied being married to his new wife, Judy Austin, during his divorce hearing with his ex-wife, May Edochie.
This contradicts previous statements that he had made, including publicly referring to Judy as his second wife and calling himself a proud polygamist.
Also, Judy Austin confirmed that she is not married to Yul Edochie
The couple claimed that they were never married and they were shocked to find out on blogs about their marriage.
The reasons for their denial are unclear, but it has sparked debate online.
Some people believes that Yul is trying to avoid paying May alimony or other financial penalties associated with polygamy. Others believe that he is simply trying to protect his public image.
Previously, May Edochie had reportedly filed for divorce, demanding N100 million from Judy Austin for adultery. She has also been granted full custody of the couple’s children.
The next hearing in the divorce case is scheduled for December 14, 2023 and it is unclear what Yul Edochie’s plans are at this time.
