On Tuesday, August 22, a 14-year-old girl identified as Desola Adeoye committed suicide.
It was gathered that the sad incident happened in Shogunle community, Lagos.
Reports has it that Desola was being abused by her father, Sunday Adeoye, and her stepmother.
On that fateful day, the deseased got home from her summer school and was threatened by her step mother.
Close sources revealed that the woman told her that when her father returns, he would pounce on her.
Out of fear of being abused by her wicked dad, the young girl decided to commit suicide.
Desola sneaked out of the house and drank the insecticide kept in the house.
Sadly, she confirmed dead after being rushed to a nearby private hospital.
