A pastor and his members were on Sunday, September 18th, 2022, reportedly flogged by Masquerades who invaded their church in Plateau state.
It was gathered that the sad incident occurred at a church located in Shikal village of Langtang South Local Government Area of the State.
The masquerades had reportedly invaded the church during Sunday service and flogged both the church’s Pastor and members. They also destroyed the church’s properties during the attack.
Although the church members did not confront the masquerades, they later gathered to pick up what was left of their properties.
Meanwhile, efforts are being made by the elders of the village to get to the root of the issue and also bring peace to the village.
