At his 61st birthday party, former President Goodluck Jonathan, or “my boss,” as Anyim affectionately refers to him, did not mince words when discussing Anyim’s influence as Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Due to Anyim’s effect on his ascent to the presidency, he referred to him as the “engine room of his government.” He expressed his conviction that Anyim would be an exceptional president.
Anyim Pius, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and ex-Senate”s 61st birthday celebration was a success. with many prominent dignitaries in attendance, including President Buhari’s representative, Boss Mustapha, former President and Vice President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Namadi Sambo, respectively, and the governor of River State, Nyesom Wike, among others.
During his address, the former president could not contain his confidence in Anyim’s ability to serve Nigeria at the highest level. Even though it is not difficult to believe that Aynim Pius Anyim could lead Nigeria to greater heights, it is much more convincing when the former president says so.
