Nationwide attention has been riveted on the tragic event at Dowen College in Lagos for several days, with macabre details of how our young son, Sylvester Oromoni (Junior), met his demise continuously emerging.
President Muhammadu Buhari condemns the death of Sylvester, a bright young man who excelled in school and brought happiness to his family, and pledges that if this incident is indeed the result of bullying or cultism, it will serve as the impetus for a permanent solution to this recurrent problem.
“I share the outrage and grief felt across the nation due to this heinous act. I extend my family’s and the federal government’s most profound condolences to the Oromoni family, the government, and the people of Lagos State. “President Buhari assured them that the death of Sylvester Oromoni would be thoroughly investigated, and all those responsible would receive the appropriate punishment. ”
The President instructs the police to continue their investigation until they discover the cause of the issue, allowing the law to take its course and ensuring that justice is served regardless of who is involved.
